Whether you ride every day, or a few times a year, cycling is indeed a way of life. Cycling Australia’s inaugural Bike & Lifestyle Show is coming to Sydney and Brisbane in 2011 to publicly showcase products and services across the entire cycling industry to assist your life on the bike. In fact, the Bike & Lifestyle Show will go ‘beyond the wheel’.
Sydney’s show is a three-day event – July 22-24 – which coincides with the final stages of world cycling’s ultimate showcase, the Tour de France. On Friday 22nd July the Bike & Lifestyle Show will be open late into the night becoming the place to be to enjoy the thrilling Alpe d’Huez stage with your friends, broadcast live at show at the first-of-its-kind SBS Live Site.
Thus it’s fitting that our premium partner is SBS. The network’s commitment to cycling via its live broadcasts and flagship Cycling Central magazine program and website, is unrivalled in Australia. Its coverage of ‘Le Tour’ will be inclusive of events at the Sydney show, including the SBS Live Site.
The Bike & Lifestyle Show offers a little of everything for the entire cycling community, no matter your level of commitment. Whether you consider a five kilometre ride a triumph in itself or simply a warm-up, the show has something to offer.
We go ‘beyond the wheel’ with education, entertainment and industry information in addition to other engaging offerings in relation to your ‘bike life’ including health, nutrition and the environment.
With a range of interactive areas including workshops, educational demonstrations, a cycling museum, panel discussions and entertainment, there’s plenty to pack into your visit.
The Bike & Lifestyle Show will truly be Australia’s premier cycling and lifestyle expo for diehards and novices alike, so come and enjoy the only exhibition of its kind Down Under.
Don’t forget, there’s a free valet service for all who arrive on their bike (Sydney only) – what a great way to get active and spend the day with your family or friends.

Cadel Evans Wins 4th Stage of Tour de France!

Cadel Evans Tour de France 2011

Cadel Evans, Australia’s best rider in the Tour de France is primed to finally win it all!
The 2009, World Champion is fresh off a stage 4 win, edging out last years controversial
champ Alberto Contador at the finish line.

If anyone deserves to win this years tour, it’s definitely Cadel, as his talent and hard work
have been hampered by some bad luck. Cadel embodies the Aussie spirit of toughness and
never-say-die work ethic that has seen him overcome and endure hairline fractures and
mechanical problems that would stop most professional riders in their tracks.

Go Cuddles! Make us proud!
